For more than two decades, Pastor Eugene has dedicated his life to the service of ministry, exhibiting profound leadership in various pivotal roles. His extensive experience encompasses being the spearhead of the Men’s Ministry, an Executive Board Member, an Associate Elder, and a distinguished leader in the Marriage Ministry. Additionally, he served as an Associate Pastor under the guidance of three globally acclaimed Senior Pastors.

Throughout his illustrious ministry journey, Pastor Eugene has demonstrated versatility by conducting comprehensive ministry trainings, officiating weddings and funerals, offering solace through hospital and convalescent home visits, orchestrating retreats and ministry conferences, and actively participating in outreach initiatives such as feeding the homeless. His impactful efforts have resulted in the effective discipleship of numerous individuals into the kingdom of the Lord.

Pastor Eugene’s teaching prowess is marked by its prolific and anointed nature, leading to transformed perspectives, changed lives, and the fortification of men, families, communities, and organizations. With academic qualifications including a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a Masters in Human Resources, he has also navigated executive-level positions over a remarkable span of 25 years.

In a personal capacity, Pastor Eugene finds fulfillment in his marital union with Dr. Darlene. Together, they are proud parents to two sons, EJ and Austin.

Responding to the divine call, Pastors Eugene and Dr. Darlene have seamlessly transitioned into their current roles as senior pastors at New Life Encounter Church. This dynamic partnership brings forth a wealth of experience, knowledge, and spiritual insight, fostering a transformative environment for the congregation. Their shared commitment to ministry continues to leave an indelible mark on the spiritual landscape, resonating with the values of dedication, leadership, and impactful service.

Dr. Darlene Allen-Nichols is a Pastor, dynamic leader, clinical counselor, and electrifying speaker with nearly three decades of experience in counseling, leadership, and ministry. With a passion for empowering individuals, strengthening families, and building healthy communities, she is committed to helping people grow spiritually and fulfill their God-given purpose.

Dr. Allen-Nichols is a highly educated professional who has earned two master’s degrees and two doctoral degrees, reflecting her commitment to excellence, lifelong learning, and effective leadership. Her academic achievements, combined with her extensive ministry and clinical experience, allow her to integrate faith-based principles with practical, real-world solutions that transform lives and organizations.

She and her husband pastor New Life Encounter Church on Chicago’s West Side. Together, they are committed to preaching the Gospel, restoring lives, and building a strong, faith-centered community through outreach, discipleship, and leadership development.

A third-generation COGIC Pentecostal preacher, Dr. Allen-Nichols is known for her dynamic, electrifying preaching and teaching style. Her powerful delivery, combined with practical biblical insight, inspires audiences to grow deeper in faith and walk boldly in their purpose.

Dr. Allen-Nichols and her husband are the proud parents of two adult sons, EJ and Austin. She continues to impact lives through preaching, teaching, counseling, and leadership development, with a mission to empower others and advance the Kingdom of God.
